A resident of Le Mans FC, a National club, Vincent Burlet scored for the first time in his career at this level.
It's a roller coaster ride for Vincent Burlet (19) at Le Mans. Quickly integrated upon his arrival, with five consecutive starts, he experienced four matches outside the group in the process, thus avoiding a series of three consecutive defeats in the championship. Back in the starting lineup for a few weeks, he experienced a match with twists and turns last Friday, during an opposition between his club and Valenciennes.
Aligned from the start on the left side of the Le Mans defense, he was guilty of a small technical error on the opening score for Valencia (56′). Luckily he caught up quickly. A few minutes later, Vincent Bulret launched into a solo rush and concluded his ride with the equalizing goal (see below, 63′). This achievement put the locals back in the swing of things and, pushed by 15,000 spectators, definitively turned the tide (Vula 68′) to record a first success (2-1) since October 23.
“When you make a mistake like the one I made, you tell yourself that you have to make up for it. But I continued my match and it didn't bother me. We were together, united. The teammates supported me after this mistake. They didn't blame me, they didn't put me undergroundconfided the Lille player, loaned for a season in National, in the mixed zone in comments relayed by
West France. The goal? It was just the feeling. When we play football, we don't think about passing, it's just the feeling.”he explained, carried by instinct during his saving action.
Like LOSC, Vincent Burlet still has to play a final match before the international break. This is a trip to Marmande, a Regional 2 club drafted following an administrative error by Vierzon FC, during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. Le Mans FC is currently tenth in National, tied on points (18) with FC Rouen 1899 of his former teammate Ichem Ferrah, an opponent he will meet on January 10 for his return to the field.
