The 1st federal round of the Gambardella-Crédit Agricole Cup played on December 11, 13, 14 and 15, held great emotions for some, with ASSAF, Mulsanne-Teloché and Clermont-Saint-Jacques at the top of the list.
The draw, carried out on November 28 by Yohan Cabaye, had already designated thirteen head-to-head oppositions between teams in the U19 national championship. Thirteen therefore fell this weekend in this type of duel (AC Ajaccio, Air Bel, Besançon, FC 93 Bobigny BG, Clermont Foot, Chambly, Le Havre, Marignane-Gignac, Mérignac, Paris FC, Quevilly RM, Strasbourg, Valenciennes ).
And their bad luck didn't stop there. Seven others fell against opponents of a lower hierarchical level, namely GFC Ajaccio, Beaucouzé, Ghisonnaccia Prunelli, Saint-Étienne, Saint-Renan, all eliminated by opponents from Regional 1, but also Olympique Rovenain and Lorient, released by Regional 2 teams.
It is therefore here that the heroes appear, named AS Saint-Priest, Stade Poitiers, SC Bastia, FC Annecy and Stade Pontivy for the R1s; AS Clermont Saint-Jacques and AS Mulsanne Teloché for the R2s. Without forgetting, Avenir Sportif Sud Ardèche Football, the last departmental club still present.
