Often a substitute at Chelsea this season, Benoît Badiashile arouses envy during the winter transfer window according to information from RMC Sport. But the London club wants to keep the French central defender in January.
Often blocked by Levi Colwill or Wesley Fofana in the Premier League, Benoît Badiashile faces fierce competition in central defense at Chelsea as is also the case for Axel Disasi or Tosin Adarabioyo. But according to information from RMC Sport, the Frenchman has no shortage of courtiers ready to give him playing time.
In Serie A, Thiago Motta's Juventus showed interest just like a top Ligue 1 club. But, proof of the confidence placed in it despite its understudy status in 2024-2025, Chelsea is closing the door to a departure during the January transfer window. Limited playing time this season
Two years after his transfer from AS Monaco for around 38 million euros, Benoît Badiashile has not yet managed to make himself indispensable in the Blues eleven. This season, the French international (two caps) made twelve appearances in all competitions but only made two starts in the Premier League.
Benoît Badiashile, on the other hand, distinguished himself in the Europa Conference League. Insufficient to convince Enzo Maresca to install him permanently as a hinge but sufficient to push Chelsea to refuse the approaches of ambitious courtiers like Juve. A Turin club which, unlike the Blues, would not retain Douglas Luiz in the event of a good winter offer for the Brazilian sentinel.
