Olympique de spoke with Danilo to get the Juventus player's opinion on a possible arrival in the winter transfer window. The Italian club has already taken a position on this matter.

A few days ago, The Team revealed OM's interest in Danilo, Pablo Longoria wanting to recruit three defenders during the next transfer window in January 2025. If the priority of Marseille leaders is Kiliann Sildillia (22 years old), they also advanced their pawns concerning Danilo, the versatile defender of Juventus. The latter is in the last year of his contract and the Turin club could be tempted to let him leave this winter for a check. But this Wednesday, the Italian site Jmania.it affirms that the leaders of Juventus have become aware of the interest of Olympique de Marseille for Danilo and that they have already taken a definitive position concerning the Brazilian international defender who arrived in 2019 from Manchester City for 37 million euros.

Danilo and Juventus, a secret clause?

Despite the contractual situation of its 33-year-old player, Juventus officials refuse to see him leave for OM in the winter transfer window. And it was at the request of Thiago Motta himself that this decision was taken, the specialist media on Juve specifying that Danilo's current contract could possibly include an automatic extension which no one has heard of. And this could justify this choice not to give the Brazilian defender an exit certificate next month, thus closing the door to Olympique de Marseille and possible other clubs tempted to sign him. At a time when Juventus has regained color under the orders of Motta, Cristiano Giuntoli has warned Danilo that he will still be in the Turin squad at least until the end of the season, while waiting to know what is hidden actually his contract.
