l'OGC Nice can he cope with an increasingly serious injury crisis?
The least we can say, It’s been a difficult week for OGC Nice and Franck Haise. After suffering a 4-0 defeat in Europe against Glasgow Rangers during the week, the Aiglons were convincingly beaten by their rivals Lyon this weekend (4-1). Nice currently occupies 6th place in Ligue 1but we have the feeling that they could have done much better if they hadn't had a major problem: injuries.
Injuries have marked the men's season Franck Haise. This time, however, it has surely reached its pinnacle. Eleven players were injured on the Côte d'Azur side, which is enough to field a solid team in Ligue 1. In fact, many of these players are considered starters for the team, except potentially Bombito.
The journalist of BFM Côte d’Azur Corentin Marabeuf highlighted this well on X, with an infographic presenting all the injured Nice talents. “To realize the extent of the situation, here is the eleven (without goalkeeper) injured Nice players,” He wrote in a post on X.
“It’s almost our starting 11, it’s still crazy,” replied one supporter.
“Besides, it only talked about arbitration, but that’s not possible, we have to fire people on the staff. Or there's a big health problem… I don't think it's bad luck at that level,” replied an OL supporter.
L'OGC Nice will have to face Le Havre during his next match in Ligue 1, before facing the Brussels side the Saint-Gilloise Union away in the Europa League.
