Yassin Fekir upon signing for Betis Sevilla

A few months after Nabil Fekir, his brother Yassin also ended his adventure with Betis Sevilla. The offensive player, trained at OL, has never played with the Sevillian pro group.

For the arrival of one, the Betis Sevilla had to accept the arrival of a second Fekir in 2019. Having managed to convince Nabil Fekir to join Andalusia, the Spanish club had killed two birds with one stone since the 2018 world champion had brought his little brother Yassin in his suitcases. If the former OL captain left his mark on his time with the Verdiblancos until his departure last summer, the story was very different for the youngest of the siblings. After his debut between Rhône and Saône and a field shared with his brother in Décines (3 matches), Yassin Fekir failed to take his first professional steps in Seville, to the point of seeing his contract terminated by mutual agreement in recent days.

In the space of four seasons, he did not make a single appearance with the professional group, even being loaned twice to the Spanish lower divisions. These experiments were not more successful, but Yassin Fekir nevertheless remained at the Betis this summer, although Nabil has set sail for the United Arab Emirates. On the sidelines of the pro group and the reserve, the 27-year-old player is now free as the air.
