Kylian Mbappé, 25-year-old striker for the French team, is now at Real Madrid following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain. But everything is not yet settled between the player and the club where he spent 7 years. The French international is in conflict with Paris at the financial level over unpaid bonuses and salaries, while PSG believes that an agreement was reached. This Tuesday, AFP reported that the player launched a new attempt with another request to the Professional Football League for the famous 55 million euros.
“Kylian Mbappé referred the matter to the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League (LFP) for “failure to pay bonuses and salaries” by Paris SG, according to AFP, which relies on an internal source at the body national. A hearing, initially scheduled for November 27, will take place on December 11.
The disciplinary committee is empowered to deal with any subject concerning a club which has not respected a decision taken by another committee of the body, in this case the legal committee which had ordered PSG to pay the 55 million euros requested on September 11. The scale of sanctions applies in its entirety, that is to say that the Parisian club could receive a fine, a ban on recruitment but also a withdrawal of points, even if the latter sanction appears unlikely in this specific case. »
It is logical that Mbappé does not let go of the matter while the authorities have been moving in this direction until now, without PSG having paid. We begin to wonder how the club could do otherwise, when a significant sanction could be imposed.
The reluctance can be understood, the matter is painful, but we should not put ourselves in danger either. Perhaps the club still has hope, an asset that is not used or an authority that could help it. It's time for this to be highlighted. Otherwise, too bad, the player will have to be satisfied and finally completely turn the page.
