Because for its part, Corriere dello Sport tells us that the Olympian coach has already spoken with Nicolo Fagioli. These were the first exchanges between the Marseille club and the Italian international, who can be considered an important target given the technician's involvement.
OM ready to bet big
We can guess that the price asked by Juventus Turin did not cool down Olympique de Marseille. The Old Lady, however, has no intention of selling off her player trained at the club. To transfer its midfielder under contract until 2028, the Serie A giant would require between 25 and 30 million euros, a huge investment for Marseille management who may have planned to finance this operation with sales. In any case, the arrival of a player of the caliber of Nicolo Fagioli would allow Roberto de Zerbi to line up a high-level trio with Adrien Rabiot and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the middle.
