After extending his contract with PSG in May 2022, Kylian Mbappé has raised many more expectations with his change of status. “It’s decadence”
At the microphone of RMC Sport, Jerome Rothen gave his point of view on the very complicated period that Mbappé au Real Madrid : « Since the World Cup final in Qatar, there has been decadence (…) What he showed yesterday, in a big match… I find it hard to be forgiving. Has everything changed with his extension at PSG?
Et Rothen then makes the link with the extension of Mbappé in 2022: « At PSG, when he renewed his contract, very quickly, it was not the same attitudes on his daily investment, on his investment in matches, on his communication… I think that a lot of things evaporated and out of this bubble of the best players in the world », concludes Rothen.
