This summer, Olympique de Marseille decided to change everything after a disappointing season. Many players left, many others arrived but the main movement was obviously the replacement of Jean-Louis Gasset by Roberto De Zerbi. Eager to establish himself in the long term on the banks of the Canebière, the Italian technician did not fail to impose his mark on the Mercato and this should again be the case during the next transfer windows. Moreover, we learned this Friday that he had attempted a big move this summer in the Premier League.
Andreas Pereira would have liked to join OM!
Indeed, in an interview with Premier League Brasil, Andreas Pereira revealed that he had received an offer from OM and that he was disappointed not to be able to go: “Abroad, a proposal arrived from Marseille, we discussed, and unfortunately it didn't work. (..) It would be really cool to go there, considering the way De Zerbi wants to play football. I saw it positively, but we will now see in January or at the end of the season if there will be a transfer or if I will stay at Fulham” he explained. Chelsea, Nottingham Forest and Monaco were also through his services but the Cottagers asked for 42 million euros. It remains to be seen whether this issue will again be at the center of debates in the coming weeks.
