Obviously questioned about PSG's progress in the Champions League, Luis Enrique estimated, two days after the defeat against Bayern Munich (1-0), that his team deserved to have many more points in C1.
Present at a press conference this Friday on the eve of PSG – FC Nantes, Luis Enrique, Parisian coach, gave his opinion on Paris' total points in the Champions League. Currently with four points on the clock, the Spaniard estimates that his team should have more than double.
“We should have 9 points in the Champions League. I'm not hiding behind that. I liked what I saw in Munich. I am very optimistic” he says to journalists.
Asked a lot about this match against Bayern Munich last Tuesday, the Rouge et Bleu coach was positive about what he saw at the Allianz Arena.
“We managed to press them and hinder them. We could have done better against their pressing at the start of the match. But we had two good actions in the first half. They had too. We conceded this goal at the start of the second period. […] I am satisfied with what I saw. I said one thing at the end of the match: all matches give a lot of information. They are not in a bag with holes. All of this matters to the decisions I make.” explains Luis Enrique.
As a reminder, PSG will be back this Saturday against FC Nantes at the Parc des Princes.
