From Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Adrien Rabiot via Mason Greenwood, no less than twelve new faces arrived at OM during the last summer transfer window. Once again, Pablo Longoria has decided to do a major clean-up to provide the necessary squad for Roberto De Zerbi who was just beginning his Marseille adventure. Several months later, what is the outcome?
If certain players have established themselves as important pawns, like Hojbjerg or Greenwood, while Rabiot is gaining strength, others are a little more disappointing. This is particularly the case of Ismaël Koné, the 22-year-old Canadian midfielder, who is having a difficult start. Not helped by injuries of course, but also not convincing enough, Koné did not come off the bench during the last Marseille victory against Lens (3-1).
Confidence and nonchalance, not the right cocktail
It must be said that in addition to performances that are not really sufficient, Koné also shines with behavior that is not pleasing internally. In today's edition, Provence evokes a “confidence” that is sometimes “disconcerting” for Koné's interlocutors. Assurance also coupled with a form of “nonchalance which is not welcome at the Robert-Louis Dreyfus center” according to the regional daily. Everything not to please Roberto De Zerbi, who is particularly demanding about the behavior of his troops.

To summarize
After a few months now, the first results are coming for OM recruits. With one of them disappointing, especially off the field. Indeed, Ismaël Koné's nonchalant behavior would not please internally.
