ASSE – OM: a first controversy already breaks out before the clash

ASSE – OM, the first big poster of the season at Geoffroy-Guichard, is already making the supporters cringe…

If ASSE returned to Ligue 1 last summer with a new owner at its head (Kilmer Sports Ventures), the club has also significantly increased its prices for gala matches. Indeed, if the Forézian management has chosen to keep an affordable subscription policy for the Green People, the price of places at Geoffroy-Guichard in “one shot” has soared for the three big posters of the year (ASSE – OM, ASSE – PSG and ASSE – OL).

Prices are exploding in the stands…

For the meeting on December 8 against , the first of three “non-category” passes of the season for Olivier Dall'Oglio's team, an adult should pay at least €33 for a place in the family corner, between 50 and 63€ for places in the north corner, on the Henri Point side or in the Central Block and more than 100€ in the legend square. Prices that make you cough and which have until now never been achieved in the Cauldron.

…and the black market becomes a problem

If this should not prevent Geoffroy-Guichard from filling himself like an egg for the match, ASSE fears on the other hand that its subscribers and Premium ASSE members will use their purchasing priority to increase prices when the stadium will be sold out through the black market. According to the EVECT supporters site, the Loire club will only send tickets 48 hours before kick-off and for subscribers tempted to give up their pass for this match, the various resale platforms will be monitored. ASSE even threatens to block the subscriptions of illegal resellers.
