Who is Lassad “Titou” Hasni?

Lassad “Titou” Hasni, former OM coach and well-known figure in Provençal football, will take the reins of the Olympique de academy to succeed Marco Otéro. With his experience and his innovative training project, his mission is to perpetuate the excellence of Marseille training.

Lassad “Titou” Hasni, next director of the Olympique de Marseille academy, is an essential figure in football in Provence. At 53, he is making his comeback to the Marseille club that he joined in 2019, where he had already made an impression. “He wanted to start in professional football but didn’t have confidence in himself at first”confided Nasser Larguet as reported by Provence, former director of the OM training center. Trained at Burel, Lassad Hasni first proved himself as a player-coach at Fos-sur-Mer, before transforming AS Gémenos into a regional training benchmark. “From a village team, he transformed it into a model in the formation of amateur football”underlines a former collaborator. His discretion and rigor have earned him the description of “an investment monster” by those who had the chance to work alongside him.


Back at La Commanderie, Hasni is entrusted with the mission of perpetuating the excellence of OM training. It will replace Marco Otérowho was forced to leave office after several months of internal tensions. “He has the shoulders to assume this responsibility”assure Maxence Flachez in Provence, former coach of the Olympian reserve, emphasizing the solidity of Hasni in this crucial role.

Thanks to his experience and past successes, Lassad “Titou” Hasni is now ready to take on the challenge of continuing to promote the Olympique de Marseille academy, a strategic issue for the club in the long term.
