The RC Lens winter transfer window should be lively in terms of departures. According to the latest information from Footmercato, Lens, which is not calm before its visit to the DNCG at the beginning of December, could see two of its midfielders leave, in this case Angelo Fulgini and Nampalys Mendy.
Angelo Fulgini, 28, clearly has some touches, notably in Major League Soccer (MLS) and Qatar. As for Nampalys Mendy, 32, he clearly does not fit into Will Still's plans. With only 108 minutes in Ligue 1 since the start of the season, the Senegalese midfielder who was pushed out this summer, has touches in Saudi Arabia (second division in particular).
David Pereira Da Costa, a young 23-year-old Portuguese midfielder, could also set sail, and is of interest to clubs in MLS. The “Little Prince of Gaillette” was even invited to find a new club.
In the event of an interesting offer in January, Kevin Danso, a 26-year-old Austrian defender, will not be accepted. According to certain indiscretions, an offer of 20 million euros with bonuses could be enough. But as you can imagine, Danso will not be pushed out, unlike Mendy, Fulgini and Pereira Da Costa.
Should we expect arrivals? As specified in a previous article, RC Lens does not rule out the idea of loaning an offensive player, in particular a number 10. However, without several departures, there will be no arrival.
