Passionate about football since a young age, becoming a sports journalist quickly became obvious to Hugo. He would later discover a love for the NBA, before exploring other horizons such as Formula 1 and the NFL.
Loaned for two years by Schalke 04, before his €5M purchase option is exercised in 2023, Amine Harit has now been in Marseille for more than three years. In an interview with the club's media, the Moroccan international returned to the reasons which pushed him to join OM.
Trained in FC Nantes before leaving Bundesligahas Schalke 04, Amine Harit came back in Ligue 1 during the summer of 2021. Loaned for two years, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder was then bought permanently by theABOUT in 2023, who exercised his purchase option estimated at €5M, despite a serious knee injury which deprived him of the 2022 World Cup with the Morocco and away from the land for many months.

“A lot of joy and pride”
Amine Harit had then played his first match with theABOUT on the lawn of theAS Monaco on September 11, 2021, before making his debut at Stade Vélodrome the 19th against Rennes. « How did I feel about my first match with OM? Lots of pride. I had already played at the Vélodrome against OM, but playing at the Vélodrome for OM is something special. Chills, a lot of joy and pride, a lot of pride “, he added.
