Mercato: Fake news for the next PSG transfer?

The winter transfer window is fast approaching and PSG could try to trim Luis Enrique's squad of two players who appear to have undesirable status: Randal Kolo Muani and Milan Skriniar. The 29-year-old Slovak defender is announced as a potential prospect for Juventus, but journalist Thibaud Vézirian has revealed a deception in recent hours.

Milan Skriniar signed at PSG in the summer of 2023 as a free agent from the’Inter. The SaintGermain managed to get his hands on the defender he had been running behind for several transfer sessions. However, since his ankle injury in early January 2024, the status of holder of Skriniar was taken away from him by Luis Enrique which has since been based on Lucas Beraldo, Lucas Hernandez et Willian Pacho in its place alongside Marquinhos.

Milan Skriniar leaving… for Juventus?

The sporting situation of Milan Skriniar au PSG since the start of the season is alarming since he has only made four appearances with the Parisian club. At a press conference last October, the Slovak international claimed to have been warned that he would be used less than last year by Luis Enrique this season. Enough to ultimately push him to look elsewhere as it is specified in the Italian press that he would be close to the Juventus due to the wish of Bianconeri to compensate for the long absence of Gleison Bremer by the PSG player.

Juventus reportedly not interested in Skriniar at all

However, this would not be the case. The journalist Thibaud Vézirian published a post on X through which he denounced fake news on the file Milan Skriniar. Some intermediaries would try to promote the defender of PSG by announcing it in clubs, but the Juventus would not express the slightest interest in Skriniar to replace Bremer with a serious knee injury. Axel Disasi, Ismaël Doukouré et Benoît Badiashile would be avenues under study in Turin, unlike Skriniar.
