The 2024 Champions Trophy set, it disrupts Ligue 1

The 2024 Champions Trophy, between Saint-Germain (2023-2024 French champion and winner of the Coupe de ) and AS Monaco (2nd in Ligue 1), had to be postponed due to administrative concerns while it was scheduled for August 8 in Beijing. It was therefore necessary to find a new date and another location.

So it’s finally set, the Champions Trophy will be played on January 5. PSG and Monaco will finish 2024 in Ligue 1 together (there are the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France on the weekend of the 22nd) and will start 2025 with a trophy to compete for. This for a very different match, of course. And high level, with the current 1st (PSG) facing the 2nd.

Let's hope that it will be a great promotion for French football, even if it means playing so far away.
