The recent decisions of the DNCG made a big noise. And in particular those concerning theOLplagued by a substantial debt which made the financial policeman of French football lose patience. Among the sanctions taken against the Rhône-Alpes club, relegation as a precautionary measure at the end of the season weighs particularly heavily and could disrupt the plans of the new owner, John Textor.
If the latter does not manage to pay off part of the substantial debt which burdens the Rhone residents, a historic French football team could well lose its place in the elite. An alarming situation to which Jean-Michel Classesformer president of Lyon, wanted to react this Monday through his “X” profile.
