For Bordeaux Le Mag, the journalist Laurent Brun commented on the results of the Girondins de Bordeaux reserve, which still has only one small point on the clock, after this weekend's defeat against Lège-Cap Ferret. The future of this is also on hold because it could be that, if the first team does not move up to National, that it will be automatically relegated to Regional 1, due to the obligation to have two divisions away from the flag team.
“Yes, I think it’s still worrying. Now, it's not illogical given the training conditions, the arrival of players since August… It's not illogical. For me, that does not call into question the quality of Erwan Lannuzel's work. It doesn't work, but it's true that the priority is the A team, even if this reserve team must exist because if it doesn't exist, the club is in difficulty. And the club is still on borrowed time, we must not forget that, especially administratively in January, there may still be things happening. From a sporting and purely field point of view it's complicated, but in any case we will have to feed the A team this week several times, and that also involves recovering players from the reserve team. It's detrimental for the reserve team but the priority remains the pennant team I imagine. It's hard for this team, but we still work. It doesn't matter much, I have the impression that not much is missing. But I’m not at the heart of the group.”
