The international break often offers the opportunity to take a short break from the images. Before the Aiglons plunge into the home stretch of 2024, with the reception of Strasbourg (D12, Sunday November 24 at 8:45 p.m.), here are some statistics which retrace the start of their journey.
Dynamic
Nice are undefeated in their last 7 Ligue 1 matches (3 wins, 4 draws), their longest run since May-November 2023 (16). Only Paris (11) has a longer unbeaten streak in Ligue 1 (like Gym, Lille is 7).
Before receiving the RCSA, the Gym occupied 6th place in the ranking with 17 units.
The complete ranking
Attack – defense
With 21 goals scored, the Gym has the 3rd best attack in Ligue 1 this season. We had to wait until February 11 to reach this total last season. The Aiglons also have the 4th best defense in the championship in 2024/25 (11 goals conceded). Only Monaco, Lens and Paris do better.
The will to play
Le Gym is the 3rd team which attempts the most shots this season in L1, the 3rd team which attempts the most shots after a dribble, the 3rd team which displays the most runs with the ball towards the opposing surface and the 4th time of longest effective game.
Who are the most used?
The three most used players at the start of the season flew to the selection during this November break.
Marcin Bułka is the only member of the squad to have played the first 15 Gym matches in full (i.e. 1350 minutes in all competitions).
At the level of field players, the most used is called Moïse Bombitowith 1145 minutes on the clock. The defender started 13 times, and only missed 25 minutes in Angers after his expulsion.
Evann Guessand (1137 minutes) comes in just behind its Canadian counterpart. Jonathan Clauss (1089 minutes) completes the podium.
Who is the most decisive?
With 6 goals in L1 (+ 2 assists), Evann Guessand is the best director of Franck Haise's group. The Ivory Coast international is only ahead of Jonathan David (7 goals), Mason Greenwood (8) and Bradley Barcola (10) in the top flight.
