Saël Kumbedi joins Rayan Cherki in the Espoirs. The defender took advantage of Malo Gusto's package to join Gérald Baticle's group.
There will ultimately be two of them in the France Espoirs team. So far called up with the U20s, Saël On the bed goes up a notch and will play with the Espoirs during this international break in November. The left back, who was planned to travel to Spain for a tournament, will finally challenge Italy (11/15) then Germany (11/19) in two friendly matches.
First for Kumbedi
The Lyonnais benefits from packages of four elements in Gérald's group Baticle to experience his first moments with this Espoirs squad. Malo Gusto (Chelsea) had to decline the selection, just like Enzo Millot (Stuttgart), Maghnes Akliouche (Monaco) and Dilane Baka (Strasbourg).
Absences which therefore bring joy to Kumbedi, but also to Nathan Zeze (Nantes) and Valentin Atangana (Reims). The three boys thus join Rayan Cherki and his teammates for the next seven days.
