Considered one of the best scorers on the European scene, Victor Osimhen made a lot of talk about him during the last transfer window, notably with a possible transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. The Nigerian striker finally left Napoli to join Galatasaray on loan, but in France they don't seem to have forgotten him…
The arrival of an international striker was one of the big debates at the PSG in recent seasons. The favorite was none other than Victor Osimhenwhich Luis Campos knows very well having launched it LOSC in the past and who seemed to have broad enough shoulders to become the new star of the Parisian club. But the Nigerian's career took a different turn last summer.
The strange summer of Victor Osimhen
The future ofOsimhen has in fact one of the big files of the last transfer window, since he and the Napoli had agreed on a transfer with a clause between €120 and €130 million. A high amount, much too high, since all the interested clubs seemed to be cooled, including the PSG. The only solution was therefore a loan to Galatasaraywhich succeeds rather well for the player, who scores goals in Türkiye.
Backlash at PSG?
This loan is, however, only a temporary solution, since Victor Osimhen is already talking about him for the 2025 summer transfer window, with a clause which would have fallen significantly and which would now be at €80M. According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sportthe PSG would be one of the serious options with contacts which could well resume in the coming months.
