While the visitor parking spaces were put on sale to the general public during the day, this Wednesday evening, the meeting will be officially sold out.

The return of the derby should allow Groupama Stadium to beat its attendance record. In fact, all the places put on sale by the Rhone club were sold this Wednesday evening. The new and unfortunate travel ban on Saint-Etienne supporters has allowed the club to market the 1,600 available parking spaces to the general public.

For this first derby in two years, the attendance record for an OL match should be broken: around 59,000 spectators should take their seats in the stadium. As a reminder, the attendance record for an OL match is 58,230 spectators and dates back to September 2022 with the arrival of PSG.

Furthermore, having noted a significant volume of counterfeit tickets for resale, the club warned against the illegal resale of seats. Olympique Lyonnais wanted to rely on the same process as that used in the European Cup: limiting the sale of tickets to subscribers and supporters. The Greens have been warned, the atmosphere promises to be electric on Sunday evening.
