Paris Saint-Germain continues to aim high by planning to finally own its stadium, and the club seems ready to take a decisive turn to achieve this. According to information from The Teaman unprecedented opportunity has appeared in Poissy, in Yvelines, where the capital club plans to build its famous new ultra-modern enclosure. This strategic site belongs to the Stellantis group, a major player in the automobile industry, which is considering closing some of its production units on these sites (the official decision is expected by the end of 2025).
All in Poissy?
On this 50-hectare site, the French champions could think big with an enclosure of at least 60,000 seats, surrounded by a real “PSG Land” including hotels, restaurants, and a shopping center. This site would have the ambition to become a leisure complex offering supporters much more than just a match experience. Note that it is also on the Poissy side that the club's brand new training center is located. Note that there are always other options: in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and at the Saint-Cloud racecourse without forgetting that the team has not yet completely abandoned the idea of buying the Parc des Princes, which the Paris town hall has so far refused.
