Real Madrid players break silence after Clasico

Following the humiliation suffered against Barça in the Clasico (4-0) at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, Real Madrid players advocate sacred union.

A few hours after the rout against FC Barcelona 4 goals to 0, in a Clasico long awaited by Real Madrid fans, the wound of this debacle is not yet closed and the Madrilenians will have to quickly turn their heads towards the next match with a trip to Valencia in La Liga, Saturday November 2.

Since the Clasico, no player had reacted in the media, or even to Real Madrid as they are used to doing. Only Carlo Ancelotti and Butragueño spoke. But, today, several Madrid players communicated about the Clasico, calling on the capacity for resilience which has characterized the Merengue club since its creation.

Starting with Vinicius who sent a message of encouragement and rebellion: “We will come back, as always. We are the biggest club in the world, you know that”, illustrated with an image where the Brazilian clings to Ancelotti, a symbolic image of support for Carletto, whose place is in question following Real Madrid's poor start to the season.

Luka Modric, captain of Real Madrid, left a message on his Instagram account: “We have to raise our heads, learn, work and stick together. Total confidence in this team. Hala Madrid”.

Furthermore, Fede Valverde, Real Madrid's best player since the start of the season, also appealed to the Madrid collective and its history: “I will fall a million times, but I will always get back up. Because we are the Real Madrid and it is written in our history.”
