Relegated to the bench with only four appearances each as substitutes since the start of the season, Benjamin Bouchouari et Louis Mouton were started this weekend against Angers in place of Mathis Amougou and Aïmen Moueffek. Noted 5,3 (Sheep) and 4,7 (Bouchouari) by the supporters on this meeting, the two midfielders played their first career match in Ligue 1.
Questioned on the subject in the mixed zone after the defeat of the Greens in Angers (4-2), Louis Mouton had ambivalent feelings the day before yesterday. First joy when he learned that he was starting for the first time in Ligue 1 but it is of course the negative result that remains: “When I found out that I was starting, it was certainly one of the happiest days of my life I think. It was a source of pride to start this first match in Ligue 1 with my training club. There were a lot of pride at the start and quickly afterwards we had to concentrate on the match (…) Any positives? Honestly, there weren't many, given how the match went, I didn't come away happy at all. When my parents call me to congratulate me, I'm not going to tell them that I'm really happy… Far from it, I'm going to work to get other starts and hope that they will be better with the victory at the end. .”
Asked about the firsts in Ligue 1 of his two young midfielders, Olivier Dall'Oglio was mixed on the Mouton and Bouchouari match: “The boys in the middle played their game. Everything was not perfect since, for example, we stupidly lost a ball in the middle on the first goal. However, they were valiant, they brought things to the table, that's the positive side of their match, I found that interesting.”
