Strange question around the Parc des Princes

The Parc des Princes is packed to the brim for every PSG match, it’s a legend reveals a journalist who follows the capital club.

An impeccable occupancy rate, the Parc des Princes has been the pride of PSG, its subscribers and its supporters since the club was taken over by Qatar Sports Investments more than 10 years ago. The Porte d’Auteuil stadium is sold out for every match, and it has been a long time since we can buy tickets in the official stores on the day of the matches. Even subscriptions are on a waiting list and are therefore given little by little each year, depending on rare withdrawals. The race to resale tickets is also a great classic, knowing that PSG matches attract tourists who pass through , and therefore create a huge resale market.

Empty seats but a full stadium, it’s possible

But all this was much more valid when Lionel Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, David Beckham or even recently Kylian Mbappé were in the Parisian ranks. This season, PSG surrounds itself with Luis Enrique with a younger team, and less known internationally. As a result, Bleu ensures that, at each match, the corners and sides display empty spaces, for example, while all tickets are announced as sold. According to the investigation carried out by the Ile-de-France media, it is quite simply that certain subscribers who were unable to go to the stadium did not find any takers when the tickets were resold.

Journalist Bruno Salomon questioned a subscriber on this subject, and his response sums up the situation well. “ Imagine, TicketPlace with the agreement of PSG imposes a floor price. So I’m offering my place at 130 euros for the match, but it’s not worth that price… Currently, my place is worth 60 to 70 euros maximum. The team playing today is not a seller if you want to resell your place », Underlined this subscriber who believes that people are no longer rushing like before to get a ticket at all costs, and that this leads to empty seats at every Ligue 1 match.
