OM has “a great player”! The big announcement
With more than 40 movements counting arrivals and departures, theMarseille Olympic was again omnipresent during the last transfer window. And if certain reinforcements have already found their cruising speed at OM, other elements are still in the acclimatization period. This is the case of young Valentin Carboni, who must for the moment be content with a few crumbs. Present at a press conference, Roberto De Zerbi nevertheless assured that the Argentinian would have his chance this season.
De Zerbi praises Carboni
“I believe he will become a great player, he was already a good player, young but strong,” enthused the OM coach. It arrived with problems. He missed training with continuity, he’s been training for two weeks. We have to see when it will be the right moment, when he will be physically ready in terms of speed and strength”.
As a reminder, Valentin Carboni has totaled 55 minutes in Ligue 1 since the start of the season. The Argentinian must deal with significant competition in the offensive sector, with the presence of Greenwood, Luis Henrique, Rowe and Harit, not to mention Maupay and Wahi for the center forward position.
