Season after season, the Prefectures issue prefectural decrees to prohibit or regulate the movement of supporters, instead of trying to find other solutions. If sometimes these are justified and prevent potential violence or excesses, some are completely despicable and in reality deprive supporters of their individual freedoms, potentially qualifying the orders as liberticides.

This weekend, the Aube prefecture published a decree to regulate the travel of supporters to for the match on the 7th day of Ligue 2 which will take place tomorrow evening at 8 p.m. However, this decree contains a little coquetry, noted by the lawyer of the National Association of Supporters,
Pierre Barthélémy. A coquetry that happens quite frequently, suggesting that the decrees that are created are made on the basis of copying and pasting other texts.

Indeed, in this decree, we can read that “The Girondins de Metz Football Club” will therefore have its trip supervised at the Aube stadium. If the error may seem comical, it reveals that the Prefectures prefer to issue decrees, sometimes with errors and inconsistencies, on the basis of old texts, rather than taking responsibility for supporting supporters.

Unfortunately, this “shell” will not be a sufficient reason to circumvent this order.
