CAPS denies, reframes those who resigned and reiterates its anchoring in Taxawu

The prospective analysis and strategy framework / CAPS / Taxawu Senegaal says it takes note of the resignation of some of its members. While regretting their departure, CAPS / Taxawu Senegaal wishes to warmly congratulate all the executives who continue to defend with the strength of their convictions the values ​​carried by Taxawu Senegaal.

CAPS/ Taxawu Senegaal reiterates its anchoring in Taxawu Senegaal and its determination to continue the fight for democracy, freedom, prosperity and solidarity. Political activism is not a sinecure. It requires a permanent commitment based on deep convictions and an unwavering will that an electoral defeat cannot affect.

So that no one is unaware, CAPS/Taxawu Senegaal wishes to inform the public that the evaluation process for the March 2024 presidential election, undertaken in an inclusive approach involving all bodies, has just come to an end. To date, no meeting or rapprochement with another political party has been mentioned by the bodies of Taxawu Senegaal. Of course, each activist is free to leave Taxawu Senegaal, but this decision must be assumed and not motivated by bad faith which makes people say that it is not the weather vane that turns but the wind.
CAPS/ Taxawu Senegaal calls on its members to remain mobilized and to continue to embody a force of proposition within Taxawu Senegaal. As a reminder, 26 executives announced this Wednesday their resignation from Taxawu after noting a tendency towards a rapprochement with one or more branches of the Benno Bokk Yaakar (BBY) coalition.
