The Gran Canaria striker was once again the star of the show for UD with another goal, his third in his personal tally after a great goal from a direct free kick. However, these goals are not enough to get more points for the yellow team.
Feeling after the defeat: «It seemed like we had it close with the 1-2 but in an isolated play they came in from the second line alone and scored the third. With that blow we scored again and we tried until the end, that is the positive thing we have to take away. The team has that winning spirit».
Reaction in the second part: “I think we are a very brave team, we are very clear about that. This year we are having many more chances because we are a team that looks for the goal from the beginning. In the first half we were not ourselves and that weakened us a little, but we have to keep the positive attitude of the second half. We kept trying until the end.”
Goal scoring success: “On a personal level it’s great but on a collective level we haven’t won for a long time, the fans deserve it. The team is doing things well but this is the First Division and it seems that we need to do a little more than what we are doing.”
