Olympique de Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi praised the “one-on-one strength” of his team, particularly his winger Mason Greenwood, who scored a quick double in the 3-1 victory over Toulouse on Saturday.
Author of two goals in a few seconds in the first half against Toulouse (3-1 victory for the Olympians), this Saturday, Mason Greenwood climbed to the top spot in the Ligue 1 scorers rankings with five goals in three games. Enough to satisfy his coach Roberto De Zerbi who praised this ability to finish in front of goal.
“We had a good first half, scoring two goals. It was to our advantage to have an extra player and we relied on our strengths in the one-on-ones, especially Greenwood, to score this double,” said the Marseille coach on DAZN after the match.
