Omar Marmoush felt like a winner after his brace in the 3-3 draw between Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern Munich in the top Bundesliga game. Even the record champions had words of appreciation for the gala performance of the Hessian offensive player, who clearly won the duel with Harry Kane and clearly leads the top scorers list with eight goals.
“Frankfurt has a difference player in its ranks with Marmoush. “He is in outstanding form and has a killer instinct in front of the goal,” even praised Munich’s sports director Max Eberl. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany was also impressed by the 25-year-old’s class: “Marmoush has great qualities. Of course we wanted to do something about it, but players like that know what they have to do and take advantage of their moments.”

The attacker, who moved to Main from VfL Wolfsburg on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, is increasingly proving to be a stroke of luck for Eintracht. Shortly before the transfer deadline, Nottingham Forest really wanted to sign him, but the professional committed to Eintracht.

Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller has no illusions. “It’s unbelievable what he’s bringing to the pitch right now. If he continues to perform like this, it is clear that other clubs will be on the mat,” predicted the 43-year-old.
