Another round of 90s and sunshine today.

East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) – Here is a look at the weather where you live: Good morning, East Texas! We only have to deal with the 90s for a few more days.. then the real fall air returns to East Texas next week! This morning is off to another mild start in the 60s with clear skies and maybe some light patchy fog in a few low-lying locations. Expect another round of very warm highs in the lower 90s across all of East Texas. The saving grace with the forecast for the next few days is that our humidity levels are quite low, so the air still feels fairly pleasant in the morning and afternoon hours. Dry, sunny, and very warm conditions stick around for our Friday with highs remaining in the lower 90s areawide. Our dry streak could end for some by Saturday as a few showers and pop-up t’storms will be possible for areas south of I-20, although coverage looks very limited at this time so lets not get our hopes up too much for some much-needed rainfall. We will trend mostly (it not totally) dry on Sunday, but at the very least the return of northeasterly winds will keep highs for most in the upper 80s or near 90°. Finally, we get to Monday! A decent fall cold front arrives during the day, leading to a range of middle to upper 80s for highs to start out the work week. Cooler air really digs its teeth into ETX on Tuesday and Wednesday with overnight lows in the 50s and afternoon highs in the pleasant lower to middle 80s! Something we can all look forward to while we deal with this final stretch of 90s.
