Belgium: the compositions are out

The Blues are expected to bounce back. After a disappointing Euro and a worrying defeat against Italy (1-3), the French team welcomes Belgium this Friday evening in the Nations League (to be followed live with commentary on Foot Mercato from 8:45 p.m.). A match that allows Didier Deschamps to give his key players a breather.

The French coach lines up Koundé and Digne in the defensive corridors to frame the Upamecano-Saliba hinge in front of Maignan. The midfield is made up of Guendouzi, Kanté and Koné, who is celebrating his first start in the national team. Dembélé, Thuram and Kolo Muani are in charge of the attack, with Mbappé remaining on the bench. On the Belgian side, Tedesco makes few changes compared to the last match, with Debast taking De Cuyper’s place while Lukebakio is replaced by Bakayoko on the right of the attack, completed by De Bruyne, Doku and Openda, alone up front.
