César Peixoto believes that Moreirense were disadvantaged by the refereeing in the 1-1 home draw with Benfica, particularly in the disallowed goal against the Canons in the first half and in the penalty awarded to the Eagles to close the match. Peixoto also commented on the departure of André Castro, who went to FC Porto to be captain of the B team: “We know we need a left back, Castro decided to leave, we all wish him the best of luck in the world.
