In the coming days, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, back in China, will address the nation, announced his Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko.
It will be a speech to the nation or a speech on the state of the nation. Because it is important that the Senegalese understand what is happening, declared Ousmane Sonko during a meeting at the Prime Minister’s office this Wednesday.
“Those who stole and wasted the country’s money are currently occupying the media, thinking they have gotten away with it. So, it is important to talk to the people. But not only that! Those who embezzled the Senegalese taxpayer’s money will be held accountable in court. Just like those who illegally seized land and killed Senegalese people, will also answer for their actions,” warns Ousmane Sonko.
