Substitute
Fran Garcia (at 65 minutes)
Came in for Mendy to liven up the attacking play on the left. Fran García once again managed this better than his colleague in the left defender position. Immediately after being substituted, he sent a dangerous cross into the penalty area, which later led to the 1-0. Always an option as an offensively livening element! REAL TOTAL-Note: 2,5.
Brahim Diaz (at 65 minutes)
Was on the pitch and delivered straight away! It feels like Brahim Díaz didn’t need a second to get used to the role of substitute, he was there straight away. He first held the ball before the 1-0, then eight minutes after coming on he passed the ball to Vinícius, which led to the penalty. The striker almost set up Endrick with a strong deep pass just a few seconds after coming on. Dynamic, lightning fast and extremely dangerous – at least in his role as substitute. REAL TOTAL-Note: 1,5.
Luka Modrić (ab 84th minute)
Due to his late substitution, he did not play a significant role in the game, but he still managed 24 passes and a total of 29 ball contacts in a short space of time. No rating.
Endrick (ab 89. Minute)
He almost scored the goal to make it 3-0 after Brahim’s pass (90th minute), but was otherwise on the pitch too briefly to make a decisive impact. No rating.
Trainer
Charles Ancelotti
His great strength: He admits his mistakes and immediately focuses on finding solutions. It was clear from the start that the lack of strategy, for which he blamed himself, was there against Betis – even if it had not yet been refined in every detail in attack. His team was solid at the back, as required. Ancelotti made his substitutions early enough so that the jokers could make a decisive impact. REAL TOTAL-Note: 2.

Grades for matchday 4: Valverde assists, Carvajal clears
After the disappointing 1-1 draw against Las Palmas, Real Madrid responded in their home match against Real Betis. Carlo Ancelotti’s men won 2-0 and Kylian Mbappé finally scored. Federico Valverde not only provided the assist for the 1-0 goal, but also performed outstandingly in other ways. Dani Carvajal played the role of sweeper at the back perfectly. The REAL TOTAL individual review.
