The third day of La Liga continued this Saturday evening with a beautiful golden poster. The Derbi de la Comunitat pitted Valencia against Villarreal on the pitch of the Mestalla stadium. During a relatively balanced game, it was the Ches who opened the scoring in the wake of Hugo Duro (24th). But shortly before the break, Ayoze Perez equalized for the Submarino Amarillo (45th + 3). In the second half, neither team managed to push effectively enough to force their rivals to give in. It was quite logical that the score remained unchanged and the sworn enemies parted ways with a draw (1-1). Former Marseille player Pape Gueye was sent off after an hour of play (68th).

In the other match played simultaneously, Mallorca travelled to the distant suburbs of Madrid to challenge the promoted team Leganes, on the pitch of the Municipal Stadium of Butarque. Thanks to the opening goal by Dani Rodríguez, the Bermellones were able to pocket a precious victory (0-1) by the smallest of margins and thus avoid falling into the trap set by the promoted team. The essential is done and the three points go to the troops of the Balearic Islands.
