The third day of Serie A continued this Saturday evening with two golden posters. In the grip of doubts, Paulo Fonseca’s AC Milan travelled to the Italian capital to challenge Lazio Rome, on the pitch of the Olimpico stadium. The Portuguese coach had made two very strong choices by leaving Théo Hernandez and Rafael Leão on the bench. Decisions that paid off from the start of the match since summer recruit Strahinja Pavlović opened the scoring for the Rossoneri (8th). But the second half was synonymous with disaster for the Lombard club. Indeed, Valentín Castellanos first reduced the score (62nd), before his teammate Boulaye Dia doubled the lead to take the lead (66th). Coming into play, Rafael Leão saved his team to equalise on an assist from recruit Tammy Abraham (72nd). With this latest achievement, AC Milan was able to secure a point (2-2) and thus avoid a new drama after the draw snatched with difficulty against Torino and the defeat against Parma.

In another match, Antonio Conte’s Napoli, who registered the arrivals of Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour, David Neres and Romelu Lukaku in the final moments of the summer transfer window, welcomed the promoted Parma to their home ground at the Diego Armando Maradonna stadium. The Belgian striker and the Brazilian winger started on the bench, but came on later. It was Frenchman Ange-Yoan Bonny who opened the scoring for the home team (19th minute) from a penalty. With more than 20 shots attempted, Conte’s troops, struggling at the start of the season with a heavy defeat in the opening, struggled to find the net despite the sending off of goalkeeper Zion Suzuki (75th minute), which prompted defender Enrico Del Prato to finish the match in goal! Indeed, Fabio Pecchia had no more changes at his disposal. In the final moments, Romelu Lukaku saved Napoli by equalizing (90th + 3) before Frank Zambo Anguissa offered the victory (90th + 6). More fear than harm for the Partenopei who pocketed a precious victory (2-1).
