????️ RULES
UEFA has decided to change the format of the Champions League for the 2024-25 season. The group stage will have 36 participants, instead of the usual 32 in recent years. The format has also been changed: there are four groups with nine teams each, in a draw to be carried out by automatic software.

Each team will play eight matches, four at home and four away, against eight different teams, two from each pot. In principle, teams from the same association cannot be drawn against each other, and each team can only face a maximum of two clubs from the same association (e.g. a German team could not face three English teams).

The classification of the teams, despite the division of groups, will not be determined by bracket, but rather through a general classification. The eight teams with the best campaign will advance directly to the round of 16; those placed between 9th and 24th place will go to the round of 32; and those placed between 25th and 36th place will be eliminated.
