NEW YORK, September 04, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TOM FORD today announced the appointment of Haider Ackermann as Chief Creative Officer, effective immediately.
In his new role, Mr. Ackermann will assume creative leadership for all TOM FORD fashion categories, including menswear, womenswear, accessories and eyewear, and will guide the creative vision for the entire brand. TOM FORD is owned by The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL), with the fashion business licensed to Ermenegildo Zegna Group (NYSE: ZGN) and the eyewear business licensed to Marcolin SpA.

Born in Bogota, Colombia, French Haider Ackermann grew up in Ethiopia, Chad, Algeria, the Netherlands and Belgium, where he studied fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Known for his marriages of luxurious fabrics and impeccable tailoring, Haider Ackermann is celebrated for his avant-garde yet wearable designs, much loved by celebrities.
