It is increasingly common for films that go more or less unnoticed in theaters to achieve much greater popularity when they are released on streaming. Almost all of them end up falling into oblivion, but there are a few titles that resurface from time to time, and this is precisely what has just happened with a science fiction film that was once a hit on Netflix and that, since its return, is once again among the most watched on the platform: Gemini Man.

With Will Smith and the use of 120 frames per second HFR technology and 3D as additional attractions, Gemini Man was a big gamble for Paramount, since its budget was $138 million. On the face of it, it was a safe bet, since it also had Ang Lee behind the cameras, but it was a historic flop.
