The incident occurred during a ruck, where Buros’ ankle suffered a significant twist, immediately causing concern among medical staff and fans. He will be replaced in the 26th minute by another Habs, Louis Bielle-Biarrey, author of two tries.

After the match, international scrum-half Maxime Lucu provided details on the condition of his teammate via scapular rugby: “He seemed to be a little better at the end of the match, in the locker room. He was more reassured than at the time of the ruck. But we don’t really know.“
This injury comes as Buros had just returned from a prolonged absence due to a thigh injury sustained during his first selection with the French XV against New Zealand in November.
