The Rugby Club Toulonnais played its match against the Glasgow Warriors at 4:15 p.m. at the Mayol stadium. This match, which the Toulonnais won with a score of 30 to 29, was broadcast on beIN Sports but also on France Télévisions, with the traditional duo formed by Matthieu Lartot and Dimitri Yachvili.

A specially designed commentary station

Matthieu Lartot, an emblematic figure in the world of French rugby, had his right leg amputated following the recurrence of cancer which had affected his knee. But upon his arrival at Mayol, the journalist and his sidekick had the pleasant surprise of discovering a commentator's position specially designed to allow Mathieu Lartot to comment on the RCT match more comfortably.

An initiative warmly welcomed by Matthieu Lartot on his Instagram account, but also on the air before the start of the meeting, as La Dépêche explains: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Rugby Club Toulonnais who set up a tailor-made commentator position for us today”.
