Six weeks suspension for Akato Fakatika ()

His expulsion against Stade Toulousain on November 23 precipitated the fall of his team (41-9, 10th day of the Top 14). Akato Fakatika, young right pillar from (23 years old), had dove into a ruck to clear the opposing flanker Léo Banos, and his head had violently hit that of his opposite number. Meeting in the middle of the week, the LNR disciplinary committee decided to retain the average degree of the severity scale for this uncontrolled dangerous gesture, which corresponds to eight weeks of suspension. But taking into account mitigating circumstances (youth, expression of remorse, clean disciplinary record), the sanction was reduced to six weeks and the USAP player will therefore be able to play again from January 6 with his club. He will even be able to take advantage of the Head Contact Process, the head impact awareness program set up by World , to reduce his sentence by an additional week.
