The ultra-sophisticated appearance of Charlene of Monaco among the Rugby players during the World Rugby Awards

In the middle of the big muscles packed into their costumes, Charlene of Monaco sparkled. On November 24, the princess was at the Salle des Étoiles in Monaco to participate in the World Rugby Awards. This event is to rugby what the Golden Ball is to football. Like every year, this ceremony brought together the elite of world rugby. For this 2024 edition, Princess Charlène, recently appointed President of the Monegasque Rugby Federation, was the distinguished guest.

A royal look

For the occasion, no crampons. Prince Albert's wife slipped into a long black dress by Alexander McQueen. The long-sleeved top of the creation was reminiscent of a half-open tuxedo jacket over a strapless neckline encrusted with rhinestones.

On stage for the trophies

Like every year, the World Rugby Awards have revealed the names of the best of them on and off the field. The highlight of the show being the revelation of the best player of the year. It was Charlène who was responsible for announcing them and giving them their prize. It was therefore to the Australian Maddison Levi and the Frenchman Antoine Dupont, crowned Rugby 7s player of the year 2024, that the princess presented a trophy on stage before posing alongside them.

This is not the first time that Gabriella and Jacques' mother has participated in this rugby ceremony. We remember her presence in 2016 and 2017. An event that she seems to appreciate and which fits her like a glove.
