Paolo Dall'asta, third row of Toulouse Olympique, takes stock of his season and talks about his ambitions for the next one.
Paolo, can you introduce yourself?
I am Paolo, 20 years old and I am a player at Toulouse Olympique XIII.
What assessment do you make of your season with the TO individually and collectively?
As an individual, I would say that I am satisfied with the performances that I was able to achieve but frustrated to have only played three matches because of my injury. For the team, I think we had a great season despite a few missteps… Particularly in the final where we came up against someone better than us.
What are the differences between the Super XIII and the Championship?
Between the Super XIII and the Championship, I think where the Championship stands out is in the speed of play. Physically, the Championship remains above in general except with 2-3 Super XIII teams.
What do you think are your areas for improvement for next season?
I first want to recover 100% to return to the field. I then want to work physically to strengthen myself and gain weight.
Who are the favorite teams next season?
I think we can claim first place next year, even if some teams like Bradford, Sheffield or others are very well equipped and have recruited well.
What are your ambitions for next season?
It's simple, I want to play as many matches as possible in the third line position to gain more experience.
