PROD2. End of season for the Fijian bomb of the US : a Clermontois to replace her?

So sometimes karma seems to strike. Sidelined by his staff last weekend and subject to legal proceedings for acts of violence during an evening in the city center of not long ago, Jope Naseara finally saw his fall above a sanction much harsher than a fine or a week's picketing.

Returning to the Dacquois group and starting during the Landes derby against Mont-de-Marsan, the 22-year-old Fijian scored his first try of the season on Saturday. His 12th for Dax, after 11 in 23 games last season.

And then the U20 international (1m77 for 92kg) was injured alone, on a defensive climb. And the verdict is heavy: he suffered a total rupture of the cruciate ligaments in his left knee and is therefore normally finished with his season.

A big blow for Dax, who loses his X factor and best finisher. 8th in ProD2 at the moment, the red and white club will try to do as well as last year, and qualify for the play-offs.

For this and according to Bleu Gascogne, the US Dax would be interested in the track of Viliame Tutuvuli, a 23-year-old Fijian who played rugby union and who plays with the Espoirs de Clermont. Powerful and explosive player, although less than Naseara, he seems to have good qualities.

Along the same lines, Jef Dubois confided that the club was also looking for a medical joker in the 2nd line. Reinforcements that could help the USD get back into the Top 6 by the end of the calendar year, which will have a favorable calendar until then.
